This regulated credential is ideal for those already working or preparing to work in the industry and aspire to become a workplace emergency first aider for purposes of the Health and Safety Regulations (First Aid). ) in 1981 as well as on health and safety (first aid).  The minimum contact hours to achieve this qualification, excluding breaks, must be a minimum of 6 hours per day in the form of classroom instruction. In May 2016, HSE and certification bodies announced that computer-based blended training is now permitted for all workplace first aid courses. You now have the option of taking your Occupational Emergency First Aid course as a combined course, with over 2 hours of online training followed by 4 hours in class. Our blended training program allows you to learn theory at your own pace, face-to-face with an instructor, at a time that works for you.


 This combined EFAW course meets all HSE and certification body requirements and is available as an in-house or managed certificate.


 All successful students will receive a Vocational Emergency First Aid Certificate, detailing their achievements. HSE stipulates that in order to be valid in the workplace, learners must retake the Occupational First Aid certificate before the expiration of 3 years from the date of the certificate of “origin”.
