What is a Nightclub Medic?
Our Nightclub Medics are the difference between a First Aider and an Ambulance attendant. They provide medical support to nightclubs by treating minor injuries onsite and ensuring that ambulances are used only when necessary.
Nightclub medics receive addition training to recognise, assess and monitor patients who may have either consumed too much alcohol or taken illegal substances.
They can therefore treat more appropriately on-site, reducing the number of 999 ambulance calls and number of unnecessary hospital admissions. Furthermore, they can provide more adequate treatment whilst awaiting the arrival of an ambulance for life threatening emergencies by quickly recognising the onset of a medical emergency.
